Talking to someone and realizing they weren’t listening. I don’t call it awkward so much as annoying. Mostly, this kind of thing happens with family for me. When someone talks to me, I listen, and I remember things that are important to the other person and genuinely take an interest in what they have to say. But when I talk about something I’m excited or passionate about, or I need to get something off my chest, someone else is always interrupting me and/or doesn’t listen, and yet they wonder why I talk to my best friend more than I talk to them.

This happened to me at work last week I was talking to someone albeit I had my back to them on my break when she walked in Then I bent down to tie my shoe and was still talking and hadn't realised she had left the bait room it was funny that time, but sometimes people are just ignorant.
