This is what I don't understand… Don't the record executives know that if people sing karaoke to their protected songs it just increases everybody's joy for those songs and increases everybody's want for those songs it's like a grassroots fan campaign. Every time I sing What I Got by Sublime I want to listen to that song and it makes me love that song more. When I hear people in bar singing karaoke it makes me want to listen to those songs when I'm driving my car. I just can't see why they can't understand this is good for them. Thank you for all you do I appreciate your time and energy!

It’s clear the amount of effort you have put into this channel, dude. Your tracks are the best I’ve ever heard for quality and fidelity to the original, let alone the quantity. What’s happening is truly a measure of everything that’s wrong with the music ‘industry’ because, let’s face it, that’s exactly what it is. It hasn’t been about the music for decades now. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us, the fans. I’m 100% sure, the artists whose tracks you have re-worked aren’t even bothered. In fact I bet they’re grateful because thousands of people are able to sing their songs with the original backing. Awesome.

That's such a shame, I'm sorry you've had to go through all this. It's clear how much effort you've put into this channel, and I know it's given me hours of enjoyment, even if it was to just escape from the stresses of the world and sing solo karaoke in my car. Record labels are ruthless. They even go after instrumentals for Karaoke entertainment purposes. Ughhh. So sad. Love this channel. These are hands down the best Karaoke instrumentals in the world. I listened for karaoke and also to listen to the instrumentals. Cool to hear music behind the vocals.

I stumbled upon your channel a couple of months ago and was stunned at the quality of your work, the backing tracks, the lyric sync, even your older videos were amazing. I have a world in VRchat that I have a karaoke function in, and I used a lot of your videos for the songs as they were the best quality. I also found it funny that you live in the gvrd area too. it's sad that corperate greed causes situations like this to happen where something people enjoy gets taken away because the big companies aren't making enough. I look forward to your return when you finally do.

This breaks my heart. Yours is and has been my favorite karaoke channel for years. Your tracks are the best available, hands down. However, I understand doing what you deem necessary to protect the channel. I will still be here supporting no matter what. Since my taste in music is incredibly deep and wide, I feel certain there will still be plenty of songs for me to sing. So, the channel is on the ropes. Critical levels. I hoped it wouldn't come to this, and I've worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks to find any kind of solutions that would be the least disruptive for everyone. .. but here we are. Heck, I've put probably 50+ hours a week for the last 8 years of my life into this channel. It's the second most important thing in the world to me, and I know it means a lot to a lot of people.
First things first. Don't blame Youtube and don't blame the artists. I'm certain that this situation is no fault of Youtube, and that no individual band member from any band actually asked for this to happen. In fact, a lot of very supportive bands are getting caught in the crossfire here. Dragonforce, for example, have publically stated support for this content in the past, and yet I still got struck over one of their songs. This is the result of a complex tangle of people more powerful than we can ever fathom.
..That's what makes this situation so difficult, because it is impacting so many people .. but I have to do everything I can to save and protect the channel for the future.. and that means I'm going to be deleting a ton of videos today. Basically anything that could remotely even possibly pose any kind of threat has to go. Some of it can then be re-uploaded, but everything going forward needs to be cleared before it gets posted. It's the only way to go. It's not required by Youtube, but it's the only way to best avoid this situation in future.
I know this means a lot of people's playlists are going to have a ton of stuff go missing .. and people who subscribed to this channel for songs and bands that'll no longer be available. Some of it will come back, but there's a chance that a lot won't. I just don't know yet. It's not up to me. I'm really sorry for that. I can't look at this any way and think that it's good for everyone, ..but as ever, maybe now more than ever, I appreciate all the support.
The next 2 or 3 days will be critical. After that, if there's no further complications, things should be OK going forward, though it'll be a long climb back to having a robust selection of tracks available. If things are not OK, well, I'll keep you all posted and we'll cross that bridge if we get there.
All the best to everyone, and again, my sincere apologies for stuff you won't be ble to sing anymore, and great appreciation for all of you who have enjoyed it over the years and will in future.
