Thank you for all these years of entertainment. These videos always served as a comfort- the consistent format, the excellent research, the classic FS2004. Fly high allec

Man I’m in shock. I was just thinking of him the other day and wondered why I hadn’t seen any recent videos. So I looked up his channel and found I had been unsubscribed. So I just resubbed. Watched his latest vid and started to read the comments. I saw all these RIP comments. I was truly shocked. I really liked his videos. Used to binge watch them. The respect he always showed to the victims was very evident. I feel like I lost a brother. My condolences to his family and friends. I’m a vet specialist. I wish I could look at his dog. Fly high Allec.

I have watched this channel for years. It has contributed greatly to my knowledge of aviation. This is a huge shock. I’m so sorry to all the family.

Allec was the first aviation accident YouTuber that I watched when I initially became interested in aviation almost 10 years ago, when there were not as many channels back then and it seemed like there were few alternatives to Air Crash Investigation and their sensationalism. Despite the relatively "no frills" style compared to newer channels, I always enjoyed his matter-of-fact storytelling. It's beyond tragic that he was not given the chance to live out his dream of becoming a commercial pilot, despite undoubtedly inspiring many others for the same. I am glad to see that his content has supported you guys and to read the comments of so many people who have been enriched by it. I can only hope that we're able to provide some form of support in return, that Cherry and Aileen are able to make a recovery, and that Allec's legacy continues to live on. Rest in peace.

No way :( Rest in peace OG. I’ve binged all your videos, was going to comment as soon as I saw the post, did not expect this. I’m no pilot but your videos gave me a world of knowledge, thank you.

I started watching Allec's videos long ago when he still did FS2004 videos. His channel was filled with simple and accurate content on aviation disasters and it became so much fun to watch. To say that I am speechless isn't enough, Allec just seemed like a really great person with a passion for flying and it showed in everything he did in his life. I grew up looking forward to every single video he would make, and I still will even if he is not here anymore. Fly high, Allec

This hurts so bad. I watched his channel all of the time. He taught me a lot about flight and accidents. He will be truly missed. God Bless Cherry and his Aunt Aileen. I pray everyone can find peace and move forward as best as possible and take comfort in the fact Allec was a wonderful soul, a brilliant captain, an educator and a great human being all around. His knowledge will not be in vain and his light will forever shine. God Bless All of His Family ❤🙏

Allec made some of the most well-made, polished and nuanced explanations in the space of Air Crash Disaster videos. They were not as detailed and fanciful as others with far more budget and resources, but his clear, well-researched narratives and calm, subtle tone not only put his work above and beyond in terms of quality, but paid respects to those who lost their lives in those disasters. It is tragic that he had to lose his life in a disaster himself, but I hope we can give him the honour and respect he paid to the victims of every disaster he made a video for. RIP, Allec.

This man was my childhood and one of the reasons I became interested in aviation, I remember watching his videos since I was 8. It was made in a way such that it was calming yet informative and simple to understand for beginners to aviation. Allec really piqued my interest in aviation especially in technical malfunctions or air crash investigations. RIP Allec and thank you for making my childhood better.

I have a passion to major in Aviation Safety at Embry Riddle. Allec inspired me and still does to make aviation safer. He fueled my passion for aviation and my current aspirations to join the Marine Corps as a pilot. This hits hard on unspoken levels. Rest in peace, Allec.

Hi, it's Kobe again.
Thank you all for the donation and the unwavering support. My only hope is that Allec, in some ways, will be able to read all of your heartfelt messages. Like most of you said, he is one with the skies and the stars now.
We also just learned that he passed the exam in Philippine Coast Guard. We are happy and heartbroken at the same time. I hope he is happy out there.
Cherry has already been sent to the vet. We are monitoring her and giving her medicine as prescribed. We will send her to an ortho doctor once her bowel movement improves. The funeral cost has also been settled and his cremation will be this afternoon. Our Aunt Aileen is still in the hospital so hospital bills are still piling up.
Thank you again. I can't express how much we are comforted by your messages and your donations.
I know most of you haven't seen my brother in law or doesn't know him by his face. I'll share here a couple of pictures to see glimpses of him in real life.

Hi. My name is Albert I'm the brother of Kuya allec. My brother allowed me to finish college and I make his thumbnails for him. If ever you saw simply explained, a short lived experimental video channel I was the voice behind that.
I would like to extend my appreciation to those who sent their heartful messages to my brother. I am in awe at how many people he has inspired. I know my brother rarely shows himself if ever to the people here watching. Do know that he keeps your messages close to his heart even when he was still alive. It kept him going and made him feel that what he's doing is something real. My brother is passionate about the things he loved. Even though it wasn't a lot, it mainly revolved around aviation, military history, the sims, gta, and gundam. He would spend all day reading up every minute detail in every article and every wiki he could find information on something on. He would watch documentaries to no end and would meticulously write his scripts. He always wanted to make sure he had something for you guys to watch. At one point we asked him if he wanted to try newer things. A newer flight sim, get a better computer, try to do other aviation related content, heck even change his chair. The Allec you guys saw is the same Allec you saw when you first watching his videos. Same chair, same desk, the computer had to switch graphics cards a couple of times due to it failing and having the need to be replaced. However, it's the same computer he's written and edited his contents on. The same computer he's had since 2014. He loved what he did. He poured his soul into what he loved. He never wanted to change anything because he loved what he was doing the way it was.
I love my brother with all my heart and is sad to see him go. The dog is recovering right now. We brought him to the vet, he still can't pee or poo and we have to manually try to compress his abdomen since the vet said the catheter wouldn't stay.
Our family feels lighter now that we're surrounded by friends and families. My brother's classmates from elementary, high school, to college visited, as well as people he's walked with in life. Relatives came from all around the region just to visit my brother. I'm sure you would all want to see him too. You're words written in the comments and to the people who sent help are cherished by the entire family. We will find ways to memorialize all the words you have for my brother. There's still piling bills for my tita who is currently in the hospital right now. I won't be asking for anything.
My brother always had the dream to be a commercial pilot. He made it until he was a private pilot before he died. He was supposed to join the coast guard and say goodbye when he passed so it hurts me to know that he's saying goodbye this early. I'll leave my message here. My heart can't bare to write anymore. I'll leave my wife to write after this line.
-Albert
