Justice is like surgery- the only way to cure a 'dis- ease' is to open up, expose & remove the root cause directly from it's source. Injustice is like a pain killer - Allowing the host to continue on, 'as is' & in comfort while ignoring & therefore encouraging the 'dis- ease' to continue growing, festering, corrupting more & more from deep within- ignored & left unaddressed in a synthetic state of painlessness as the corrosion overcomes and with it the collapse. Idk.. you get the drift. 🙏

Absolutely on point. Back when I was a muslim, life indeed was comforting and did give me instant relief. But I had the side affects of endless doubts and confusion. Now that I am an atheist, i agree, living as an atheist doesn't give you immediate relief or comfort. But a bitter truth, is far better than a comforting lie.
