The holidays can be times of joy for some, and lonely for others. We hope that each and every one of you find peace and belonging in this, and in your own communities.
It's also okay to be melancholy and sad if you feel alone during what is typically a family oriented holiday season. For some, breaking bread with family can be uplifting and communal. For others, it is either non-existent or a painful reminder of the bigotry still instilled in others.
