This is just... this is the biggest nope I've ever seen. A complete 360 from everything I grew up learning about internet safety.
The past 6(ish) decades: "Never put your personal information online. The internet isn't safe!"
Governments in 2025: "If you want to properly use the internet, you have to forfeit all your personal information to be given out freely anywhere you go."
Seriously, if this isn't stopped, I'm legitimately boycotting the internet as a whole. Unplugging everything that isn't radio or cellular communication... looking up information in library encyclopedias... returning to paper maps and handwritten documents.
And for my Christian friends and followers, this is basically the starting point from which the one-world government of the 7 years of Tribulation will be built off of. If any of you aren't focused on God right now, do that... because given how fast things have been moving in the past five years, it won't be much longer. (I might make a further post about this later...)
