Manuel Bravo

When talking about Egypt, most people think about the pyramids, and come up with countless theories and stories. đŸ—ïž

But to me the pyramids—although undeniably iconic—are the least impressive thing about Egypt.

What truly left me speechless when visiting Egypt is the stuff that’s in the south, that is, the majestic temples, and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, as well as the serenity of the Nile river. Every day you’re more astonished than the day before by the things you see there—the size of the architecture, the amount of art carved in every surface, the vibrant colors still glowing inside the tombs
And learning the story behind each detail really helps you grasp the depth of the most ancient civilization that the world has seen, and its deep roots in today’s culture. đŸ›ïž

What place in Egypt intrigues you the most to visit? 🐊

If you want to learn and understand more about the mystical architecture of this great culture, đŸŽ„ be sure to check out my videos in this playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

There are some interesting artifacts on Elephantine Island that showcase the exceptional construction skills of the ancient Egyptians if that's interesting to you.

Photo 3/5. On my bucket list. I thought this was in Jordan, but I'm obviously mistaking it for Petra. Haven't been to either place.

What impresses most? Abu Simbel, and the fact that “modern” Egypt moved the entire thing when building the Aswan High Dam across the Nile! Thanks!
