A few hours ago, I received news that broke me. My friend Hurr, who is @BendyBrine cousin, told me that Bendy had passed away on April 12 2025, due to a brain infection. I’m still trying to process it. It doesn’t feel real.
I remember exactly how we met, it all started in the comment section of one of my YouTube videos. Just a random interaction, but it turned into something much more meaningful. From there, we started talking on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Discord. And over time, he became more than just a name on a screen, he became my friend. A real one.
At some point, I introduced him to @8-Bitmahesa , a good friend of mine I’ve known since elementary school the creator of Tale. I’m the creator of YellowX, which I started during COVID after getting inspired by a comic book I was reading at the time. Those stories mine and 8_bitmahesa’s inspired Bendy to start his own series, Dealt Powers. And that was the beginning of something beautiful.
We worked on our own projects, but then 8_bitmahesa had this wild idea to collaborate and turn all three of our series into one movie. At first, we clashed hard tons of miscommunication and misunderstandings. Honestly, looking back, it was kind of hilarious. But despite the chaos, we stuck with it. And after a year full of hard work and growth, we released our collab. Alhamdulillah, it reached 886 views. But more than numbers, it changed us—it made our animation better, and it made our bond stronger.
Bendy Brine wasn’t just someone I made stories with. He was the nicest guy I’ve ever met online. Genuine. Creative. Supportive. He had this spark , this passion for storytelling and he used it to create his own world that touched others just like ours did. He never brought drama, only ideas. He never looked down on anyone, only lifted people up.
Losing him really hurts. But I know he’d want us to keep creating, to keep pushing forward, and to never forget why we started. His series, his characters, his vision, they live on. And so does his spirit, in every frame we animate, in every scene we write.
Please take a moment to make a prayer for Bendy Brine.
He was a kind, creative, and genuine friend who left us too soon.
May he rest in peace, and may his soul be granted the highest place in Jannah.
Ameen.
Rest in peace, Bendy. Thank you for being my friend, my inspiration, and a part of my story.
We’ll carry you with us always.
