Georgia Dow

EDIT2: We have altered the video to follow policy. The full video unedited is on nebula. We apologize for the strange cuts in the video. Thank you for everyones outpouring of support it was so heartwarming.

EDIT: A Human reviewer still deemed the Video unsuitable.

Sigh, I always try to make respectful educational videos about important topics. Unfortunately, YouTube sometimes decides that they are unsuitable for Ads. That's what happened to my The Boys "Abuse" video. Even though this affects the channel, I think this topic is too important to not discuss. So the video will stay up. I am trying to dispute their decision but I don't expect them to change their position. Thank you everyone for all of your support <3 just wanted to share

@Tagperson

You covered a very serious topic in the best way possible. It’s crazy that it was still demonetized.

"I just want to be educational and teach people." YouTube: "So you want to be a teacher in the U.S.? Then we have to make sure you make as little money as possible. It's a law or something, I think."

I've seen comments deleted that actually tried to help others by advising them to look for a medical treatment etc. Even worse, some commenter having a really bad time and writing about it only to get his comment memoryholed... I've also seen history and apolitical music channels blocked or hidden by the algorithm. Recently, a channel run by professionals got a strike claiming that they did things that only professionals are allowed to do...

Your videos are precious! This youtube policy is a kind of censorship: "you can't tell or talk about "x" because you wil bring no light and don't talk about it, it will make a better world." But actually, it will forbid and even worse, it will start a slight censorship tha can grow and become even worse. We can talk about everything since we have our responsability.

@Kingdramana

Unfortunately they don't like people talking about real issues. You have our support as always! Hopefully other platforms will rise to force Youtube to accept certain topics have to be added into the whitelist roster.

It has to be spoken about. Immediately I was wondering how many would chuckle at the revelation of his distress about that

Honestly, kinda glad I have premium for once so you can get that revenue at least. That video is wonderful ❤️

I'm really sorry. It was an excellent video about the ways in which trauma affect us differently, and how to respectfully but with impact portray that. Watched it on Nebula - so glad you have a place you can still see it. Paywall totally justified for me.

Your channel is the best! If YouTube knows what’s good for them they’ll see channels like yours are what brings and keeps people on this platform.

I want to catch up with the show before I watch your annalysis on it, but I am very much going to watch everything you make about it. Your videos are so informative and caring. It sucks so much that these subjects are swept under the rug for the sake of people's comfort.

I'm really sorry it happened. I didn't watch this video in particular, because I haven't watched The Boys, but I've loved all your videos I did watch. So I'm sure this one was great too. AND I'm sure you did it in the most respectful way possible. Thank you for your dedication to so many incredible and entertaining content.

This topic was covered with respect and expanded upon in a way that is although sensitive it is equally informative and important

I've noticed that if certain words are used in the title they will just nix it no matter what it's actually about. I really disagree with the censorship, but it might be the word 'abuse' that the AI overlords are getting stuck on. I'm sorry you're experiencing this censorship, I love your videos! ❤️

Keep your head up! It is deeply unfortunate that this has happened, but I know you are a creator who will do the right thing even when this kind of thing happens. It’s true that no good deed goes unpunished, but it doesn’t take away the value of what you do. Hopefully, YouTube decides to find a shred of humanity in them and monetize the video. Best of luck!

It’s wild that the fact that you’re spreading awareness for abuse is being punished
