I have a collection of air guitars. Had a problem with the last one. I bought a case for it, but it’s too small.

I’ve owned 98 throughout the time I’ve been playing and at one point I had 12. Then I became a dad, moved out, pandemic happened, got laid off, had to sell all of them, etc etc. Now 5 years later was able to put some money aside and finally buy myself a guitar a month ago. Feels so fun to play again.

I reckon over the last 30yrs of playing, I've owned 25+ guitars. I now own 5, and they're all different types and all very special. Got a solar g type, a super strat shred toy, I got a Tele, an SG, 7 string... You get the picture. But all of them just clicked... They're all perfect instruments and I don't think I'd ever say goodbye to any of them. I think that's probably the case with most guitarists throughout their careers and the gear we use.... You start simple, it gets more complex and bigger... Then we revert back to simpler, easier times. Now I want to focus on enjoying playing, not chasing tone nuances.... I'm happiest when I pick up, plug in to something and it sounds good and I start playing. I've owned about 20 amps and more pedals and rack units than I can remember (I remember owning a few ibanez soundtank units). I envy new players today... The choice and quality and ease you have.... Take the boss katana amps for example... Ask ANY player who's been at this for 25+ years.... Stuff of fantasy. The ability to capture and clone rigs... Ir's ... Make believe. To anybody chasing that tone, I wish you all the best.

I have 7 and each one inspires me in different ways. Got my dad rock guitar, my metal guitars, a jazz guitar, etc. One for any kinda mood I’m in.

I'm in the low 50s now between all my electrics, acoustics, and basses. I just have a small collection of amps though with an AxeFx 3 for everything else. Got a bunch of Synths too. The collection is getting out of control though. I really need to cut it down but the guitar/gear market is in a post covid slump right now. I'll wait until the market is a little more favorable. Note: I am single, don't date, no kids, late 30s, and have a high paying job at about triple the national average. I've also been building my collection for 15 years and bought most of it used since I hate buying gear I'll lose a bunch of money on if I decide I don't want it anymore. My number one guitar is a first run PRS SE Mark Holcomb with DiMarzio pickups, upgraded tuners, and a bone nut tuned up to E Standard. I have a bunch of guitars that are way more valuable, but the Mark Holcomb and my Eric Johnson strat are the ones I play 80% of the time.

In 1988 I bought a second hand Yamaha strat copy (my profile picture), and in the early 90s I bought an old P Bass copy. I bought an acoustic around 2015. In the last year or so I've bought a heap of guitars though, mostly 3/4 size "for the grandkids". 😁

3 geetars and a bass. A Squier Stratocaster Made in Japan circa 1983, which I bought cheaply from a friend in 1987. A 1990 PRS Special which I bought new in 1990. A cheap Squier acoustic bought in 2017… and a Marcus Miller V9 bass new updated electronic… so comfy!

Small collection of around 137 electric guitars, 32 acoustic guitars, and another 150+ instruments. So quite modest, according to my wife. She always tells me "(some word before) .... BUY ANOTHER GUITAR" most likely must or why don't you.
