23 yrs in the USN...done seen it a LOT of it. I can say, without hesitation, any opportunity to visit and learn first hand about fellow humans in other cultures should be taken. I experienced hospitality and kindness everywhere I went.

I was in the Navy. I got to see many countries. At 49, I'm content being home with my family.

Not everywhere, but there's a good dozen places I'd like to visit.

I love the idea of traveling not the actual going and doing because of anxiety. I hope this can change and heal.

Been traveling since I was a child. Left the country I was born in at the age of 20... now 37 and haven't looked back since. Nothing teaches you more than traveling!

As much as I'd like to see the world, I'd settle for being financially stable enough to afford a halfway decent car

Lived in the Spanish-French border for 27 years, lived in Ireland for a while, visited England, visited various parts of France, went to the Netherlands, lived in Japan for a while too... Definitely love traveling

Rode motorcycles for over a year in 10 countries and would saw off my left arm to do it all again. Life changing. Not trying to be dramatic. Actively saving wildly to do it all again asap.

I’m definitely in the minority but when I do travel with my wife which is relatively often, I always think it’s the best way to waste time off from work 🤦‍♂️ I’d much rather use a week off to crash on the couch watching a TV show with a pizza. The packing, the actual travelling, the settling in at the hotel and then doing that again on the way back eats a lot of your time off and then you don’t get any rest because you have to get the moneys worth out of the holiday so you’re always busy. As my wife says “you can laze around when we get home, now we have to do stuff” and that just makes me think about how much money we’d save and how much happier I’d be if I was just lazing on my couch 😂😂😂 but that’s me. My favourite thing to do in this world is nothing 😁 and you don’t get many opportunities so don’t waste your nothing time with a holi

I'm lucky, I did travel the world when I was younger. I'm older now. I'd rather stay nearby home these days. But for the young, I highly encourage you to travel as I did. Later on in life will always find you more reluctant to wander far.

Honestly, I lived in America until I was 19, then in Europe until I was 23, and now I've been in Vietnam for 6 months. I never really wanted to travel the world—I just sort of ended up doing it. But in my personal experience, none of this artificial "travel the world" stuff brings true happiness. Joy and fulfillment come from being where your loved ones are. And if you don't have loved ones yet, go make them. Find the person you're going to spend the rest of your life with. Have a couple of kids. Don't waste your time chasing travel, money, or material things. Find love.
