This was the turning point in my day. I’d been in a bad mood all morning. You know when you just wake up feeling pissed off, but you can’t put your finger on why? For whatever reason, I didn’t sleep well, and felt completely zapped of energy. On my lunch break, I used the classic 2 minute strategy- I promised myself I would do the first 2 minutes of my workout, and call it a day. I did 2 minutes and thought “fuck it, I’ve already started now, I might as well just finish”. 18 minutes later I felt like a new man. Sometimes it just takes one workout to change the trajectory of your entire day. If you’re having one of those days, just do 5 minutes. Your mood will catch up.
