Musk said empathy is a sign of weakness. Therefore, I won't bother to offer any.

it's delicious when consequences finally catch up with people of his character.

I saw a post on Bluesky that said, “I know Elon Musk gets a lot of hate on the internet, but personally, I think we should give him more” and I think about it every now and then and chortle to myself.

Teslas are held together by glue and marketing. The vehicles that Tesla makes are shoddy at BEST, and are blatant road hazards. Parts creak, panels fly off mid-drive, and if your cyber truck isn't covered in rust after 6 months you'd better count yourself lucky. This company is an utter disgrace, and consumers deserve better.

Tesla is exceptionally poor quality, with constant recalls, immense software and safety failures and literal parts falling off the vehicle. It is a testament to public perception rather than tangible value that Tesla is more valuable (on paper) than Toyota. I have had Toyotas forever, and will continue to have them. Best brand on the face of the earth.

The irony and idiocy. Your customers were in large part interested in the environment. Then you align with the anti environment administration.

NowThis Impact
Tesla’s Q1 earnings are a masterclass in how not to run a company — profits tanked 71% compared to last year, tumbling to just $409 million. Revenue fell 9.4% to $19.3 billion, dragged down by a 20% dip in automotive sales — the lowest since 2021. Deliveries dropped 13%, likely not helped by Elon Musk’s constant political distractions and that infamous N*zi salute.
