Patrick may be funny, but sometimes he was a pretty bad friend. -When he thought Gary chose him over SpongeBob, he was happy even through SpongeBob's heartbreak. -When he got his driver's license and rubbed it in SpongeBob face. - Jumped on the 'Idiot boy' bandwagon. -Jealous of SpongeBob when he won awards. -Let SpongeBob spill all of his secrets to him and still rubbed his secret box in Spongebob's face. -Tried to catch and bottle SpongeBob for himself when he wanted to live amongst the Jellyfish. -Gave him a nasty ball of chewed up gum on best friends day while he got a servant robot, but still acted like the gum was a better present. -Expected the world from SpongeBob on Valentines day. I could go on.

Spongebob. I liked Patrick for the 1st and 2nd season. Then Patrick started becoming more of a jerk, and they made him the overly exaggerated stupid. Sandy had stayed my favorite character overall though.

Patrick can actually be really mean and a bad friend. He's super selfish. I liked him growing up, but I was recently watching some of the episodes again and wow. SpongeBob is always great.
