I'm sensing fertiliy of the empress, and barrenness of emperor, the feminine accepts and allows wanted grow like a beautiful fruitful garden, the masculine, protects from harm, and doesn't allow unwanted growth like weeds that overtaken stifle. The masculine fertilizes the feminine, such as fire brings new life to land. We all have both feminine and masculine within, the oversoul is linked to the rooted foundation that brings the lovers together through divine blessings, the sun light, can both burn or nurture. Trees produce 02 (oxygen) inhaling is feminine , internal, and fire produces CO2 (carbon dioxide) exhaling is masculine, external, gemini is an air sign ruler of mercury, they both stand with open arms, open communication nurtures the garden, their mind is linked through the roots, through the angel blessings, feminine gaze is fixed on the angel for guidance, the masculine linked to both watches the garden to protect the process.

The Esoteric Cross
Labeled number 6, The Lovers has a theme of temptation. There are so many layers to this card. I censored this (sorry.. just to be safe) because YouTube gives warnings on taking down the channel for these cards. The Lovers is a place of choice. Do we commit to ourselves? Are we truly committed to our consciousness? This could go in so many directions. What is good for you now vs. what will be good for you in the future. It alludes to instant gratification. We could also view this being the alchemical marriage and the union of opposites. Bridging the heart with mind. Bridging the form with force. The higher self is something I think of when I see this card and Raphael’s image peeking through. It gives me the feeling of the Holy Guardian Angel. When we place this card on the Qabalistic Tree of Life, the path runs from Binah to Tiphareth, which is the path of Gemini. The sphere association is Tiphareth, and would relate this card to the Sun.
