Unleashed from purely the day stage gameplay alone was peak Sonic. Fastest he's ever been, the stage design was amazing, the graphics were phenomenal and still hold up to this day, the music is peak, and the reward you get from memorizing a stage so that you can react and boost perfectly was amazing

Even though I personally think the Werehog can be pretty cool and fun at times, if you took it out and only had the daytime stuff, I GUARANTEE that Unleashed would be praised as one of, if not the very best Sonic game.

I feel like Colors has really grown on me over the years. It’s got a very chill, laid-back vibe to it, and that makes it a really good “cozy” game to replay for me. Specifically the generally easy difficulty and the corny, low-stakes story actually help make it a chill game IMO

Overall, as a game, I believe Generations is the best Boost game, but I feel the boost segments of Unleashed are stronger.

Good. Even though the younger sonic fans grew up with Colors and Forces, they still recognize the superiority of their predecessors. Their is hope for the future!

Unleashed had some of the best difficulty for boost stages and generations had great level design. I think a mix of the two would have been great after generations but instead we got…. whatever the 2014-2021 era was
