Now that the DC4 season has ended and I've had a day or so to digest the finale, I'm ready to give my final rankings for the season as it stands right now. First my thoughts on the final four and then the list will be down below. As always Spoilers for those who haven't watched the final episodes to this point:

4th Place: Hannah - I think this was a good place for her to finish as her plotline had run its course for the most part and I'm glad her and Logan patched things up before they left for the season. I wouldn't be upset to see them as a couple down the road but it did kind of come out of nowhere and it probably makes more sense if they're just friends.

3rd Place: Anastasia - Makes sense that she didn't win due to her aggressive playstyle rubbing some of the jurors the wrong way which ultimately was her undoing. She was a great villain/anti-hero to watch on screen and I'm glad her and Melissa are going to continue their relationship outside of the show. I'm a fan of hers and have her as my highest female contestant for the season for a reason. She has fallen down to third best though.

Runner - Up: Jade - Personally I think she would've made a better winner than Logan as her reasons for winning were more fleshed out and she was a better gameplayer than Logan especially on the strategic side of things. Still she's a good character that has solidified herself as A tier for me. She's not the flashiest or the most charismatic, but she's a solid presence that you can't help but root for. She was always going to go far this season that was made clear in the first episode with that twist to go to the minigame with Isabel and she chose the smart option of the flint. I just wish they didn't wait until the second half of the season to explore her more as a person outside of gameplay.

Winner: Logan - I'm actually happy that my dumb jock managed to pull out the win after a majority of the community wrote him off as the first boot before the season even aired. We should've put two and two together with how similar he was to Wayne from the TD Reboot, both are athletes from Canada and are the happy-go-lucky dumb jocks. Despite that it was fun watching him find a way to get to the end while not being overly comfortable turning on allies throughout. I do give him the edge over Wayne because he has more emotional and strategic depth to him but he probably should've been the runner-up because his need to win wasn't as fleshed out as Jade's for one, and he was very wishy-washy when it came to strategy. Still he did what he had to do to make it to the end, whether it was winning challenges, turning on people when he had to (Zaid and Spencer), or overcoming his acquired fear of the water.
Do I think they could've written his character better especially in the merge phase? Yes.
Is he the best winner for the season? No.
But am I happy that my original winner pick did win? Yes.

Was this the best overall cast for the series? Yes. (This may be biased as this was the first season I watched live all the way through.)

Feel free to let me know your thoughts on the characters and the ending of the season down below. I'm open to opinions, but please be respectful of everyone's thoughts.
