"Not the least of the problems in the Saturn V system is logistics," said Arthur Rudolph in 1966, speaking as the Director of MSFC's Saturn V Program Office.

Saturn V really taught NASA a lesson in logistics. The complexity of transporting all the parts required to assemble the rocket was truly nightmarish, with over 20000 contractors and subcontractors from all over the country who supplied hundreds of thousands of individual parts for the Saturn V.

Does SpaceX avoid this problem with Starship by building everything in-house and right next to the launch site?
