One of my very favorite verses!!! ❤🎉The only verse I could repeat to myself in 2016 dealing with complications for two months in the hospital after a major surgery

When we focus on the stormy waters or the “noise” in this world , we take our eyes off Jesus, and The Prince of Peace says to the storm, “peace be still”. Life often distracts us from what is truly important, we need to be still , sometimes it’s in the quiet places that we hear our God. It’s an act of fearing and being faithful at the same time

Nik, you are the only one that makes me dive back into my faith every time, it’s hard for me to do it on my own at times I’m so surrounded by the spirit of rejection but you just make everything so digestible and makes me eager to fight whatever is holding me back. Thank you

No, it actually means that you should literally meditate while making a real effort in being still and resting in the awareness of He is God. Like it’s an actual practice, an active type of action, spending time with God without asking Him anything

Psalm 46:10 says, ‘Be still and know that I am God’ but ‘be still’ in Hebrew (harpū) means more than being quiet, it means to let go, to stop striving. Also, ‘know’ (yada‘) isn’t just head knowledge: it’s deep, personal, experiential knowing. The truth about this famous verse is deeper than I realized. God is inviting us to stop striving so we can truly encounter Him.
