Saw Free live for the first time 1970 Isle of Wight when I was 17, now coming up to 72, still my favourite band. Paul has the perfect voice for the music of Free, and of course Bad Co. My first time seeing Paul Kosoff was him playing with a band called Black Cat Bones in Cheshire- just a one off guitarist, one of the best I've ever seen. Great days.

Free was the best band in the world. There's not a single day I won't play their music. They were so young and talented, sometimes it's hard to believed they wrote all those beautiful songs in his teens. Simon is a fine, powerfull and solid rock drummer. Koss was unique and his vibrato was wonderfull, so much feeling on every note. Andy was a fantastic bass player, so innovative and ahead of his time (listen to Mr. Big) And Paul for me the best singer in the world.

Paul Rodgers stands next to Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, Bobby Womack, BB, Albert and Freddie, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Marcus King. Thank God for these men.

My all time favourite guitarist.... he played in a beautifully expressive way with a gorgeous tone and with bags of imagination but more importantly he always played with HEART... bless you Koss 👉❤

Paul Rodger’s in concert in the 70’s was the best I’d ever seen. Always loved his voice. I still listen to Bad Company all the time. Also Free with him.

The only chance I got to see Free was in 1972 at Vets Memorial Auditorium. The show was to start at 8 o'clock, but just before the warm up band came out, we were informed that Free cancelled due to Paul's health(hard drugs).....so I never got to see him, but I'm still listening to the great one on all my Free cd's.

It's a magical combination when the entire band is focused on the back beat- that was Free. And we will always love you guys ✌️
