With that out of the way, let me just get this off my chest. Look. The Splatfest results aren’t great for a lot of us (roughly 2/3 of us, teams wise), and it’s kind of a bummer. I get it! I mean, I’m the only person I know who picked Team Afternoon! Now I’ve seen some people saying it was rigged, and things like that. I get it. There have been times where I feel the same way. But at the end of the day, it’s only a video game. It doesn’t affect really anything significant in the real world. We do this as a friendly competition as a community. If we’re sitting here getting this salty over the results, we’re taking it way too seriously. “It’s only game, why you have to be mad?” You can’t even call this anything like “oh that’s just cuz you were on the winning team” cuz dawg I wasn’t. I’m kinda bummed I lost too. But when the dust all settles, it’s still just a game, we’re still a community, and it’s all in good fun, right?
TLDR: We need to seriously chill out about the Splatfests, and competitive gaming in general. If you do not agree with this, I have provided some tomatoes and/or rocks to throw at me below 🍅🍅🍅🍅🪨🪨🪨🪨
