China has launched the world's first and largest fleet of 100 fully autonomous, battery-electric mining trucks at the Yimin open-pit coal mine in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia.

This groundbreaking initiative, led by state-owned energy giant Huaneng Group in collaboration with XCMG and Huawei, represents a significant advancement in intelligent, zero-emission mining operations.

Fullly loaded truck going downhills, and the battery is charged; Empty truck going uphill, battery is in use to power the truck. At the end of the day, no charging is needed.
