Hello everyone, this post will give an update on the summary series.

As time as passed, I've grown better at writing my scripts, speaking, and developing my style in telling a story. And I can't help but keep in mind that my summaries are being used as a vehicle to experience Girls' Frontline 1. On that note, I will be going back and revising both Episode 1 and Episode 2 of the summary series to make them fit into what I've developed the series into.

Episode 1 was really just me going into this project with a completely different mindset, and it just doesn't fit with what I'm now comfortable with. Episode 2, as a result, feels like whiplash compared to Episode 1, and I feel these two episodes combined have filtered out a lot of viewers who would have otherwise enjoyed the rest of the series.

I will also be creating an Episode 0, which will explain the Beilan Island Incident, Rossartrism, and World War III. This will allow Episode 1 to have more room to breathe, and it'll remove some bloat of Episode 2, which is the biggest criticism against it.

So here is my loose road map.

1. Episode 6 (Mirror Stage)
2. Episode 0 (History of Girls' Frontline)
3. Episode 1 Revised (The First Arc)
4. Episode 2 Revised (Isomer)

Episode 0 - 2 shouldn't take as long to make as a standard episode, but Episode 1 should have the most dramatic changes, which will hopefully be viewed as improvements.

As always, thank you all for your support.

Dang, I just finished watching episode 1 and thought it was pretty good. Looking forward to the remake. You're doing a very good job! I recently started gfl 2 and wanted to know more of the lore behind it. I'm a fan of stories in different gacha games and it's what makes or breaks one for me. I heard gfl 1 and 2 had a good story and I have to agree, it's definitely intriguing. Thanks to your efforts, now I'll be able to experience gfl 1 as well.

@ExpelParadise

Love your summary vids! If you want my two cents as to why I use your summary vids to experience the GFL1 storyline is because I work a full time job. As much as want to experience the story through the actual game, my time is limited and I can only allocate so much of it to other gacha games, life, work, etc. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next vid.

As someone who has limited time because of work I appreciate your summaries. I wouldn't be able to experience GFL story otherwise and I'd still be confused about what is happening in GFL2 and why.

I like the idea of you learning how to format the video and how much information should be in the video and now go back two revisiting the first episodes to add stuff and remake them📜

As a writer myself, rewrites are basically inevitable. And it’s not a bad thing either, sure we are our own best critics but we look back and find good points. For me, a story doesn’t really have an ending when I’m writing it, since I could always rewrite it to make it better, that is to say it’s never perfect. The more you write the more experience you gain and thus, rewriting your previous work posts. And when you finally get to a badass cinematic post, it’s probably one of the best feelings I’ve felt. TLDR? Looking forward to seeing how the revised summary episodes will turn out!

@roar104

Thanks again for doing this. Lots easier to convince friends that listen here than go through the game of they're enjoying GFL2 and want the story
