After many stressful attempts, and almost no help online, I finally got packaging and playing on the quest figured out. I’m still excited to see this video though. I enjoy watching different approaches and I know I will learn something new.

No way!! I’m beyond excited for your gun tutorial! What kinda features do you plan to add? If you’re willing and able to, I’d love to see a system for reloading magazines one bullet at a time, sorta like Into the Radius!

Hey everyone! I just wrapped up filming a Quest packaging tutorial for Unreal Engine 5.5, and it’ll be going live this week. If you’ve been trying to get your VR projects packaged and running on the Meta Quest, this tutorial will walk you through the process step by step.
I’m also still working on the gun template, and it’s turning into a really advanced system. This will include hit impacts for different surfaces, detailed reload animations, and interactive weapon mechanics to push VR immersion even further. Plus, I’ll be releasing multiple guns with this tutorial, so you’ll have a solid starting point for your own projects.
To make it even better, I brought on a concept artist—who happens to be a close friend from college—to design one of the weapons. That means you’ll also get a custom free asset as part of this release!
I’ve also been teaching myself animation over the past couple months, and I will be looking into creating tutorials for producing animations entirely within unreal, here is a sneak peek of one of the animation projects I’m working on.
