So I know it was 3 months ago but I wanted to give my review of Life is Strange: Double Exposure just cause of how appalling it was.
The good things about it was the graphics even if they bugged out a few times. The premise of the first chapter was good however the plot took a nose dive with the rest of the chapters and the location was visually appealing but there isn't alot of it.
Now for the bad stuff, the amount of explorable areas are so small you could count them on one hand, there's only four major areas (Max's house, the pub, the Fine Arts Building and, if you count it as a major area, the overlook/murder site). Other than that there are only two minor areas, the bowling alley and the rooftop. The Game was not heavy enough to be LIS, almost all the characters were boring or unlikeable, moses being pretty much the only character I cared about. The plot for the rest of the game was so boring because it was just talking to the characters I disliked. They brought back fan favourite characters like Max and the Storm just to pander to peoples nostalgia. The feature to customize a cat was so pointless, you only see the thing twice throughout the game. The consequences that follow the choices were so small that there was only one consequence that I can remember from my actions and that was giving moses a white streak in his hair. From my gameplay, I made a lot of bad choices but I'm not sure how much I should blame myself or the game. The choice to choose a Love interest at the very beginning of the game without meeting the character first and not being able to choose them after the fact is so fuckin annoying and I was kicking myself afterwards for not going after the girl at the pub. The ending was underwhelming. I got better endings playing the first 3 games.
This game gets a 2.5/10 Don't buy it! It's a lot of money down the shitter. It's almost hysterical.
