Here’s the thing: social media is not an inherently good or bad thing. It is a neutral tool. It is only good or bad depending on the person who uses that tool. Social media is a huge benefit for the spread of information. Though the base use is to spread information, bad people can have just as much influence as the good.

Any form of communication can be misused. The problem isn't social media. It's the horrible and evil people we keep letting on there. And it's the fact we keep tolerating their existence as well.
