I just really, really hope that it brings Retrofuturism back into the mainstream. If we could start seeing it influence product design and architecture, man... That would really be awesome. Take us to the future we once dreamed of!

It looks very original. Even though going with a 60s aesthetic is so 2000s (Mad Men, The Incredibles and to a lesser extent the Star Trek reboot) it does separate it from from all the previous MCU projects, apart from WandaVision and Captain America which also celebrated mid century nostalgia.

Looks like fun, I hope it's good But I'll wait for the reviews, the days of going to midnight releases concluded with Endgame

This is the first new marvel movie that I think is actually gonna be really good. Like the movie visually doesn’t look like the same generic slop they’ve been putting out. It’s got some flavor to it

Wonder if the recent space launch of 11 minutes by bezos was a pre pre marketing tactic to see this trailer. Getting tired of seeing actors and actresses wear pins that they care about causes or “advocating” for them all the while they are working with the ones who create them. If they cared at all they would be denying an association with companies studios or industries that contribute to the violence, what kind of washing shall we call this brain, white, green, or nationalism. This is why the Stan lee documentary coming out will be extremely important the exploitation of creating narratives in comics to offer and representation of something being exploited on top of exploitation, but will do some retro futuristic throwback to satire the wealthy and powerful exploiting it’s no different then when musk thought he was the real version of iron man.

Thats Shalla-bal as Silver Surfer NOT Norin Radd We need Norin Radd too . He can work as plot twist in the film and Shalla-Bal can join him in Afterlife after dying in the film The Emergence is inspired by the Earth X comic series Earth X An alternate universe variant of Shalla-Bal appears in Earth X. This version was transformed into the Silver Surfer by Franklin Richards / Galactus before she is later killed in battle against the Celestials.[20] Following his own death, the original Silver Surfer reunites with Shalla-Bal in the afterlife.[21] Eternals 's Emergence was taken directly from Earth X So they might as well be adapting Earth X 's Silver Surfers for the F4 's Earth ( my guess is F4 Earth will be merged with 199999) Maybe Norin Radd is Silver Surfer in 199999 or becomes that in 199999 after Secret Wars

I’m not happy to say this, but I think this movie and Superman are not going to make back their money.

Thing looks and sounds off. Johnny is okay. Sue is better than Jessica Alba...but is she going to be fighting Galactus in her third trimester? Silver Surfer looks terrible, moves sleek but I'm not invested. Nice of Ant-Man to make a cameo at the end....seriously that end was off tone. I'll skip it, might catch it on streaming but I've been doing that post Endgame anyway shrugs

I dunno, the whole cast seems off to me. Johnny seems boring asf, Thing sounds totally wrong, Sue & Reed might be fine, but coupled with the other 2….I hope I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m not gonna pay to see it anyway, so my opinion doesn’t matter.

honestly, it looked really boring. I am not rooting against it, it just seemed so cookie-cutter and safe with everything being seen before and done better before. But I'd love to be proven wrong! Just didn't feel any excitement watching the trailer at all.
