Hoocho

Small but important announcement.
We are now stocking pest management solutions on hydroland.

This comes with a particular responsibility that myself and the team are committed to, which is that we will only stock pollinator (bee ๐Ÿ ) friendly solutions that are safe for use on food crops (lettuce etc ๐Ÿฅฌ) when properly used (with withholding if applicable)

I will be doing a video on how to apply once we have stocked the three main biocides we are trying to beat the market price for and provide in quantities that are appropriate for small backyard applications.

The first of these is dipel which comes in $7 less than Bunnings Yates brand, for more than double the amount than the Yates product.

@haciendamaldonado

Congrats ๐Ÿพ mate!! This is a big big deal to have this more accessible for your audience and I can 100% guarantee you chose a great product. I use this every week for our hydroponic business to control worms ๐Ÿ› and fungus gnats larvae on our cilantro crop and it works super well. The best part is that you can apply it at any time of the day, itโ€™s not harmful to bees ๐Ÿ like you mentioned and yo can immediately harvest if you need to. Keep up the good work!!! Love to see how you keep inspiri

I had the impression that a big benefit of hydroponics is to eliminate the need for pesticides by cultivating plants in a controlled indoor environment. Have I gotten this all wrong? I remember someone saying that pests could be handled by activating a speaker creating a sonic boom to kill insects that got past the barriers to hydroponic farms.
