TobySketchLoose - Artist and Urban Sketcher

Sometimes I feel a bit self-conscious sharing this kind of thing, but every now and then it’s nice to pause and appreciate the little smiles.

I log in a few times a week to read through comments on my courses and respond to all of them, giving feedback and answering questions – and today I was met with a wave of kind feedback, all from the last 24 hours on the Beginner’s Course.

It honestly means so much to hear that the course is helping people overcome their fear of cityscapes, find joy in tricky details like tangled wires, or just feel a bit more confident putting pen to paper. That’s what it’s all about.

Thanks to everyone who’s left a comment – I see you, and it really does keep me going!

@mrgerald

I've not taken your course. But I drew something for the first time in decades because of one of your tutorials :) Thanks for inspiring me to pick up something new!

You have been such an inspiration to me to let go of perfect lines and perfect shapes...to just let it flow. My sister sent me a treasured picture of a large house we lived in when my dad was stationed in Belguim...US military. It brought back so many wonderful memories I sketched it in pen and sent it to my five siblings. You are impacting many beyond what you realize and spreading much joy! Blessings to you.❤
