Traver Boehm (@traverboehm) is the founder of the UNcivilized Men’s Movement, author of Today I Rise, Man UNcivilized, a two-time TEDx speaker, men’s coach and podcaster.
Traver draws upon an eclectic background ranging from work as a professional bodyguard, Mixed Martial Artist, and utilizing his Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese MEdicine and Meditation. Traver counsels men, women, and couples on how to better understand men’s health and relationship difficulties.
We sat down to talk with Traver about:
1. Why we need to work to see the current paradigm that insists men are broken, as being broken itself
2. The importance of a man’s ability to dance with his darkness to understand it - not allowing his darkness to lead him blindly
3. Expanding the archetypes that men are able to embody beyond those of either the “Marlboro Man” or “The Sensitive New Age Guy”
4. How women are best able to support the men in their lives in standing in their power and embracing their capacity to heal
