Don’t forget both Hannibal Lectors only had short face time in their respective movies, with Brian Cox coming in at 9 minutes vs Anthony Hopkins 16, if I had to choose it would still be Anthony Hopkins. Although I hold both films in high regard and Brian Cox was amazing in the film as was Tom Noonan, who I think carried the film, Anthony Hopkins created a truly memorable and iconic character of the 90’s.

Controversial opinion incoming…I prefer Manhunter to Silence of the Lambs. I think Brian Cox is the more believable psychopath and the soundtrack is stunning! Which do you prefer..I'm guessing I know the answer!!
