How about testing for teflon baskets? Are any fryers available that don’t have a Teflon basket?

as long as it’s stainless steel with No forever chemicals, that’s all I care about

If the food never becomes crispy it doesn’t matter about how easy it is to clean or the operation menu. It won’t get used.

Being a toaster oven. Seriously, I have limited counter space, and live in Arizona, so a toaster oven with a convection setting and an air fryer basket works so much better for me than an air fryer.

Are there any with a nonstick coating? I have the ninja but the coating is coming off after a year of use...

Harder to review, but longevity is a big one for me. Had two different brands of air fryers and cleaned them following manufacturers instructions, but both of their nonstick coatings started flaking off into food within 6 months. Gave up on air fryers after that

Is the Typhur Dome one of the air fryers you are testing? If not, you should include it.

Have been using air fryers for more than 5 yrs now. Most well known brands perform more or less on the same level but cleaning can vary a lot. It would be interesting how you go about it.

The actual size of the basket is important to me. The bigger the better, I'd like to get an 8x8 in pan the basket, but the dimensions given aren't always quite accurate.

No harmful non-stick coating

Safety. Possible toxic fumes at high temperatures from the make and model

Looking forward. Can you do a demonstration on the Breville Control Freak some day?

Size of the basket - smaller fry baskets require multiple fry times. Cooking in batches gets annoying when you can only cook 2 chicken thighs or 6 wings at a time.

@SandiHooper

Does it actually work better than an oven with convection?

I care about the materials, does it release anything toxic?
