Black, then once you’re tired of it and your red grows out a bit - have you ever thought about a pixie cut?

As a stylist, dye it black for one last hurrah, then either shave it or get a very short pixie. I feel like a pixie would be incredible on you.

Why not both? Dye it black and then shave it off, plus’s I know you’d definitely rock the CUTEST pixie cut if you did.

You’ve stated that you wanted to dye your hair black once. Do that then you can shave it so at least you can say that you did it.

I think I agree with the comments saying dye the soup side black/dark neutral & leave the rainbow side to fade out. Just be aware if you go true black, shaving will be your only option to remove it 🤣 on the other hand, if you do go full shave, you can put up loads of wig content!

Do both! I 110% recommend shaving your head if you have even the tiniest bit of curiosity with it. I shaved my head last year and found that a lot of my insecurities came from my hair not my face. I had a confidence I've never felt before

Dye it black first and then shave it off! That way you get to do both👏

Neither! As someone who's bleached/dyed and experimented with different colors mostly on the ends of my natural ginger hair, both options sound too traumatizing to me. LoL 😬 I say let it fade and try some other colors if you want. And/or try some non bleach color removers. Then go to the salon for a good chop and dye back to ginger when you're ready to stop experimenting

I mean, if you want to push your hair to the limit, test out different brands of non bleach based color remover on the side you don't want to keep. That way there's more hair science content before you dye it black or shave it.

I think chocolate brown would look so cute on you (similar color to that wig you had in the end of the video)

You've always wanted black hair so you should definitely try it once in your life or you'll regret it! Plus it'd look super cute with all your pastel clothes.

To get rid of my red/orange tones in my hair I did dye my hair blue black and I may dye a dark blue or a royal blue over it to try to intensify it more. I feel like this could be a good bit of advice too. Cool toned black hair would look wonderful on you. There are many shades of black out there!

I shave my hair for similar reasons, and hated it! I didn’t feel pretty or like myself, but I also have been going through weird times in my life. It is just starting to turn into girl hair after a year (never got any cute cuts) and I am starting to feel pretty again. I really wish I had just cut off a lot of my damaged hair but left it a short Bob so it would grow long again faster. I hated it being shaved and short 😅😅😅😅 but I am so happy it is growing back heal

Pretty Pastel Please
If my "hair soup" goes terribly wrong, should I shave my head or dye everything black?
