Too expensive Perhaps PTX is unaware of how much VIP's pay and how little they actually get; as far as accomodations &/or any type of real VIP experiences. I definitely expected more for my money. Well; OUR money, as I went with my husband. The concert itself was great. I was just extremely disappointed with the lack of VIP amenities. Let me explain. The concert was at 7:45 They let VIP's in at 5:00 as the meet and greet with PTX was at 5:30 ish So, we get there and get our laminated VIP lanyard(s) to wear, along with a small plastic bag with a small PTX puzzle, and a lyric sheet for a new song, typed on thin cardboard paper and signed by Kevin and Matt (who wrote the song) We were shepherded into arena seat area, sat down, and told they would be out shortly. Half an hour later, they stood on stage and answered a few audience questions. Then they did a few minutes of voice exercises, singing Jingle Bells and being silly. Since they play no instruments; that was their warmup/rehearsal. Took only a few minutes. Then we (the VIP's) were brought up to the edge of the stage (on the floor, in front of the actual stage) 10 people at a time....with group behind us. Pictures were taken, then emailed to us the next day. We printed them ourselves. After photos; we were sent back out to lobby of arena; to spend the next hour and 45 minutes walking around. They gave us early access to tshirt and merch tables; before rest of concert goers were admitted. Then we just wandered aimlessly, carrying our little bags around; with our VIP passes hanging from our necks, feeling much less than important. I was saddened by it all. The lame bag of puzzle n lyrics, the 3 minute rehearsal/voice warm up, the lack of amenities...no coupons to save $ on merch or food/drinks, no personalized hospitality, no VIP lounge to relax in before show (wandering around for almost two hours was beyond boring) as we weren't allowed to leave arena once we were let in. We spent several hundred dollars for the both of us to do VIP and get good seats close to the front. It was not worth the extra time or money. Don't get me wrong; the seats were nice and they sounded amazing. AND THE PHOTO IS ON OUR WALL... We still love PENTATONIX; we just learned what NOT to do. Good seats yes; just No more VIP!!!!
