1. Thats terrible my best wishes. 2. You have got to get out of that enviormment as soon as you can, beeing in that will only destroy you. Issue is obviously money. Without know any of the specifics, id say figure out on a written budget exactly what you need to live (food rent basic necessities) and then try your best to 1. Save up and 2. Find another job, it does definitely not have to be like this there are jobs, and you are clearly clever and skilled enough to find other work, even remote or online. And it sounds like literally anything is better than what you are in now. Most people are nice ❤️ I would personally love it if your YT got mega popular fast, but its a risky and tough path to focus on while you’re so deep in toxic work. 3. Family is nice, but it is okay to make space for your self and make a different life for your self. You dont have to acccept any shit from anyone just cuz. Issue is they currently controll your income but that can change! Try to think long term! All the best to you and your family <3 (let me know if you want help with brainstorming, genuinely doesn’t take much effort to help)

I'm sorry that you are dealing with all of this :( I hope that YouTube (or whatever else you want to chase) becomes successful soon so that you can get out of that situation. Just don't stop pushing for what you really want, even when you get discouraged. It will pay off in the end

Its certainly a tough situation to be in. I personally think prioritising your own mental health should come first regardless of how well paying a job may be. Whatever choice you do end up making everyone here, myself included, love the content you put here and its something that I think we all hope is something you love doing!

Hello, Koro. I’m Japanese and I don’t understand English very well, so I’m using ChatGPT’s translation to send you this message. Your value is not determined by your workplace or your family’s opinions of you. Please make protecting your heart your top priority. You’re truly doing your best, and there are people here who support you. It may sound obvious, but if you don’t take breaks, anyone would get exhausted. Money is important, but your health is far more valuable. If things get too painful, it’s okay to drop everything. There will always be places and people who can help you.

Im sorry to hear that. Your situation is uncomfortable. Sorry to say this (i hope its not rude for asking this) what about your mothers relatives? Or your mother? Have you told them about your situations right now? If theres no choices, my idea is to locked in for a moment (i mean until youll get enough money) and then build or make something WITH SOMEONE, then quitting the company. I always hate a company that runs by family lol. They always causing troubles and blame it to the outer family or everyone other than their fams lol 😂😂 But seriously convince them that, you have goals too. Pls dont retire from being our foxy 😭

I would start looking for a new job right away. Even if if the pay isn't the same. It's often better to make less money at a job that is good to you than lots of money in place that mistreats you. Of course, that's for you to decide because I'm sure there's a lot of things you probably have budget for. I hope things get better ❤

Sorry for hearing that mate, that's a very rough situation you ended up to But I believe that one day you'll be up again to where you originally had before the hack

Have you increased the security of your accounts to avoid a repeat? MFA/2FA + Passkeys ideally? Are there any paths to monetize the business? Are there any ways the community can help? At some point if things take off you can lean on them as contractors or employees, and if they're willing volunteers, so that you can delegate tasks to so you can focus on the macro business. Since you cannot profit off the music directly due to licensing you should explore working on high quality merch, both standard store and drops. Playlists can be paywalled behind becoming a member here, another platform, or your own site etc. Member only things can be live streams, certain videos like 1hr+ long playlist videos instead of each video separately.

Sorry for this but i need help…
(Im bout to trauma dump on you guys)
All of you know this, but since the hack of my old Youtube, my life has taken a dramatic dip down, and its been only going down since there.
Let me explain,
After the Youtube hack, my dad offered me to work with them in their family bussiness, since i had literally no other option to get money from, i took it.
(Worst mistake of my life)
This company is owned by my uncle, (a typical rich and ignorant boomer, who you cannot tell he is wrong or he might fire you, i’ve seen him done it to other employees), he is extremely toxic and very aggresive, he speaks like if he were screaming at something, my whole dad’s family kinda share this same trait, and my uncle’s bussiness literally runs the whole family.
My dad, is a very stubborn, toxic and misogynist person, if you do not share his way of thinking he often will put shame on you for not being “mentally successful”, he also shares the traits of being toxic and get irritated VERY and i mean VERY easily.
Those 2, are my bosses here, i work as secretary in this place, and my everyday job is being enclosed in an office with my dad and uncle coming my way every 30 minutes, i barely see any other person.
My issue here is that, no matter how good your work is, these individuals will always want more from you, and if you dont comply you will most likely be fired, i get the work of an employee but get treated as a family member (they won’t care if they say slurs or if they are abusive).
I often get put work related to editing and marketing, something that is not my area here, but since they know i do Youtube, they just throw that extra work at me “for free”, not bonus not anything.
I can count with my fingers (of one hand) the times when they were nice to me, or the times they have ever said “Thank you”, there is way too many examples i could say to explain why this place is extremely demotivating and toxic.
Its a place i want to leave as soon as possible but the only thing keeping me here is the paycheck, its a good paycheck, but i believe thats the only good thing this place have.
