i saw someone discuss how right wing media is kind of er*tic in the way they talk about subjects. “slammed”, “owned”, etc. like they have a dominant/submissive element about them. that would be interesting to delve into further

how the patriarchy affects how society views queer relationships, like how men have been so conditioned to be emotionless and tough that any affection between them is considered “gay” in contrast to how women are stereotyped as being more/overemotional which results in wlw relationships being viewed as a phase and not real

i’ve been thinking a lot about the sudden resurgence of Americana and american pride in black american music. i go back and forth on how i feel about it, and i’d love to know your thoughts/theories on why it’s so popular, what purpose you think it serves, and whether or not you think it’s a positive or negative thing. love your work, keep it up!!

As someone who is Romani, I would love to see a Collaboration with Florida.Florian for a discussion on the Boho fashion movement and it's effects on the appropriation discussion. The Bohemian fashion trend started as appropriation of Romani fashion and culture and in the 50s and 60s started to co-opt elements of Black culture (white hippies with dreads) and American Indigenous culture. I would also like to see a discussion along a similar vein of neopaganism, historical revisionism (burning times etc), and it's effects on appropriation/racism/fascism/bioessentialism.

I can't watch horror because I'm a scaredy cat but I'm interested in it because it reflects what exactly we find scary or taboo in some way. Kind of like how romance reflects what we dream about, horror is the inverse. And I'm sure other genres can be examined this way too.

Femininity/soft life/dating content online has become part of the altright pipeline for women. So many attitudes about how women should live mirrors exactly what is said in the manosphere but has been disseminated as a form of lifestyle/choice feminism (which bell hooks warned us about). It’s not surprising to see people linking it to the current surge of conservatism in young people and overall global shift into f@cism when you look at the ideals being sold to women. Some are straight up tactics that were used to discourage feminist thought and action in the 60s. It’s repackaged patriarccchy but with rainbow stickers and ‘pop feminist’ slogans all over it. I’ve seen more and more videos aiming out about how crunchy spirituality and true crime content are part of the pipeline but discussion of this is still mostly limited to tiktokk and blog articles.

i really liked your video about the infantilisation and the body hair debate. helped me unlearn lots of patriarchal issues that were imposed on me. I'd like it if you could cover topics like womanhood and its identity. if not, I'd like to see a video about biphobia and bimisogyny from within the queer community because it is so rampant in wlw spaces rn and i don't see anyone talking about it

Khadija has mentioned this previously in one of their videos and I don't know if ANYONE has really made a proper deep dive into it, but I'd love a deeper look into POC (ESP Africans) in the world of memes and how it links to racism (same with the appropriation of AAVE AND Cultural Appropriation in K-Pop. Yes, people are talking about it online and yes you wouldn't be the first one covering it, but like... let's have a bigger conversation!!

The tendency for people to moralize all the content we consume (might tie into the rise of purity culture and the death of media literacy—now that I’m talking about it, conservatism in general)

What are some video topics you’d like to see from me? 📚 Keeping in mind that I typically cover pop culture, social phenomena, internet trends, and digital communities (the Manosphere + Tradwives as an example).
