Next video is now up and available for early access to members. In this video, "The End of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet", I recall some of the best features to come out of Scarlet and Violet now that ZA is out and the era of Scarlet and Violet is coming to an end. The video is set for public release on Sunday, October 26.

@MiteshPaunikar

This game has shown some of the best moments of Pokemon VGC and will be remembered as peak of competitive play until of course, the Pokemon Champions come.

As much hate as this game gets (imo a ton of it is both justified and undeserved), you cannot deny that it's the game that really made people the most interesting in competitive; VGC especially as I see a ton of videos reach over 1 mil views

@chonchjohnch

Gonna easily replay these guys, I’m shocked how much more I enjoyed them on a second playthrough

@BladeTNT2018

Since you made a video about a Freeze-Dry variant for other types a few months ago, I would like to see a Scald variant of other types (A move that causes a status condition not associated with its type. E.g. Scald, a water type move, causing a burn, a status condition that's associated with the fire type)

I was a huge gimmick complainer before S/V. I hated megas for the garish design and flat gameplay, I hated dynamax for just being the same but worse, and while I didn’t HATE Z moves, I never felt like I wanted to use them. I love terastalizing. The idea that an opponent can turn into anything and potentially use moves or strats it normally wouldn’t is so much fun. Competitive didn’t feel so samey and cyclical this gen. I’ve never really thought this much during a battle before. Prediction has always been my strong suit over actually acting and taking chances to do things but I felt like with teras, I was so much more able to make a plan and use it. I really think the tera gimmick made me more of a pokemon fan and I’m really worried about getting bored again when it’s gone. Grateful that past formats still get to stick around after new ones take over 💕

Damn, crazy to see it go. So much has changed in my life since it came out, I'm practically a different person now 😅

@fogismaximus

I feel like, because of VGC and the fact that the gameplay of ZA is completely different, S/V isn't going anywhere till champions or gen 10 comes out

@PaintedDragonite

Wow, I feel so old and so young at the same time, given that I was born like just before black and white and only got into Pokémon during 7, it’s still crazy to me that it’s been THIS long- I know some people played like since gen 3 or when gen 1 came out and hate being reminded how old they are but—-

@MrElViktor

It was one of The buggiest games ive played, with mediocre graphics and basically unplayable when you were in the water or in the snow. But still, had a lot of fun with this. One of my fav Pokémon games. The highlight i give to SV is how i went from thinking that tera was The worst mechanic, to it being the best (in terms of battle. I still think z-moves are better in lore)

@miikaroos3809

Gen 10 won't come out for another year, but I guess Champions will be the next big thing. So long, Scarlet and Violet, I had a lot of fun with you, as my 569 shinies in the Pokédex might suggest.

@GalacticGravattak

if you put performance issues and lack of VA aside they are genuinely amazing games they have by far the best story well written characters some dark moments like Arvin's mom/dad being dead the whole time etc., and i liked the paradox mons a lot the idea of pat and future forms is super cool even if they are from different timelines/dimensions/universes[from wherever they are] also the terestalization is the best, balanced and most VGC friendly gimmick out of all and opens the doors for more creative teambuilding than just mega evo go brrrr or dynamox go brrr and killing everything and if those 2 issues weren't in the game they would have been the best Pokémon game without a doubt.... IMO.

@justenoughrandomness8989

imo SV was great, but it should've been outright exceptional, ESPECIALLY in terms of the launch, we all know how laggy it is
