I really do wonder how and why Condall meased it up this bad with Grrm. Did Condall think Georgs ideas were not good for television (and his were better) or was it purely the practical reasons? I don‘t believe in the fact, that the show had to deviate this much from the books or imo from the spirit of the books. There also must be alot of ego involved in all of this, on both sides of course. I‘ll always side with george first because in the end, its his baby.

You know, it's strange: it's not as if anything NEW got revealed we didn't already know seven months ago: that Condal and GRRM got into a huge disagreement over creative differences. So why does it feel so apocalyptic now?

Obviously we'll find out next year, but I wonder what the "toxic butterflies" may be next season. SPOILERS I hope they don't have Helaena die next season. I'd prefer her die in season 4, have the smallfolk hear of her death and get outraged and that's the last straw that makes them storm the Dragonpit.

It’s a system thing. There is an order from above to let certain themes plots stories on television. Now more than ever. Mark my words next year a bunch of golden shoes would just drop in quality and get scraped off. They don’t want a good story, they want entertainment for us.
