Basically gojo had to die for the plot just like geto and kenjaku had to. Or the story would have always been gojo kaisen.

Sukuna can win even without mahoraga using his true form and remember that gojo already get buff by Utahime and gakuganji

Saying "Gojo > Sukuna" kind of misses the bigger point of the story. Even if Gojo could win in a fight against Sukuna without Mahoraga, Sukuna had to win for the story. Bcz the spotlight needed to shift to Gojo’s students, that's the whole point of their role in the series if u really think about it😭 But if ur js talking about scaling then Ig it makes sense, but I've seen a lot of ppl genuinely believing Gojo should have won only because he's stronger and "Gege should have nerfed Mahoraga". And just to be clear, I’m not directly referring to Ato’s or Vegito’s posts here.
