This'll be a little long but there's a few ways to approach this in my opinion. There's a channel with almost your exact same format, albeit a different genre, called Purrfect Synthwave (@Purr-fect-day) on youtube who ran into the same situation and she monetizes all her animated wallpapers through a ko-fi link on her channel/videos now for use in wallpaper engine. You could check out how they handle it over there for some ideas, considering the smaller channel size it seems to be working well. Other than that you could just upload some for free in a standard format with no audio on the workshop promoting your channel and brand in the description, then monetize premium versions with higher resolution, audio, and/or extra features like customizable text on background screens or dual-monitor display versions. Or lastly you could just ignore it altogether. Gonna be honest though I've seen a lot of rips your work being shared on workshops lately since it's gotten quite popular and they weren't available in that format as of yet, it's pretty easy to cut/loop a section of youtube video. So even if you don't decide to monetize and deal with that whole process, I highly recommend uploading basic versions of your stuff yourself so at the very least you can self-promote so people can support you. Hope it works out for you though!

You can also look at it from the opposite point of view - every opportunity of sharing your work (such as requested wallpapers) is a valuable one. Maybe not in a monetary sense, and I'm not saying you should sacrifice your earnings to give away your work for free. But to the degree that you can share your work without it significantly hurting your business, you could see it as a matter of simply making the world a more beautiful, happy and loving place and leading a deeply fulfilling life. Having people literally requesting your creative work is a privilege only granted to a small percentage of human beings, and I belive that only sharing it if it can generate money is a waste of the giftedness you have to offer to both yourself and the world!

Not totally sure how it works but have you considered looking into patreon? Perhaps there's a way you could set it up to share them with only your patrons? Also check on selling them on Etsy. I'm not sure if it would end up being worth it after the selling fees, bc they're kind of high. There's other online marketplaces but pretty sure they're the only one that allows digital items

I actually use a product called Wallpaper Engine from Steam that was like 3 bucks to use video's or whatever for wallpapers. You can 100% make custom ones yer self or edit Gif's, Video's & use em instead. There are a few good YouTube video download extensions still out there that work & will allow HD 1080+ downloads if u Donate to them 1 time for whatever amount you choose.. I am Leaving the Names of them out on purpose , Google searches typically will bring said Downloader extensions up.

Hey there, While I can't guarantee you that positions won't download this and resell it under their own names you could look into having a limited access sort of agreement when somebody buys one, sort of a license with limited usage, say strictly for your desktop wallpaper and not to resell it or for commerical purposes. I don't really understand the legalities of this but its kind if when you're using a software, whilst you paid for it you still don't legally own it and there are certain restrictions of how you can use it Hope this was helpful or sparked some ideas. I didn't know what this post talked about till I clicked on your channel and recognized some of the thumbnails, I always assumed that you used AI to make those with another AI to animate them - is that the case? Or are you designing it yourself? Fascinating scences nonetheless - enjoy your night!

hi!! and congratulations on your incredible work. Is it possible to buy the rights for one or more videos that I can use as a virtual office in YouTube videos or in the creation of master classes ? :) the idea is to put my voice on an animated character who will evolve in one of your videos which will be his room or his office.

Is that why you decided to remove my wallpapers in the wallpaper engine? I liked your work and made it in wallpaper engine, but now my opinion of you has changed. nickname in Steam "Fine". I had no material purpose in this, I liked the wallpapers and as an avid Wallpaper Engine fan I posted them in high quality, but thanks for removing them. I left in the description under each work the name of your channel, 150K sub were deprived of these beautiful live wallpapers

A Wallpaper BG solution that allows using a video-based webpage (YouTube) should be the best immediate BG solution for leveraging the YouTube income format. I have been using 'Lively Wallpaper' Windows app with your YouTube videos the past couple days and it works seamlessly right out of the box. I would miss the customization available with the zentube.com site, but Lively Wallpaper with the YouTube format makes perfect sense for income reasons right now. The more I look into Lively the more I like it. It's open source and already has impressive support on Reddit and DeviantArt https://www.rocksdanister.com/lively/ I would like a YouTube version of your... 'cliff-wall cabin w/adjacent waterfall... :) That is easily the one I would miss most from your site.

Wallpaper Engine / Steam Workshop: I've received a lot of comments/requests for these to be available as desktop backgrounds. I'd like to be able to fulfill those requests, however it's a riddle.
Having the content on YouTube allows me to earn part of a living and be compensated here on the channel. If anyone has any solid ideas on how I could set up something similar to make these available as requested, protected, and could also help compensate for all the hours spent creating them, please let me know. I'm coming up blank.
