The Ottomans referred to the rulers of the Qara Qoyunlu as Iranian kings!

Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror of the Ottoman Empire, in his letter to Jahan Shah of the Qara Qoyunlu, addressed him with the title *“Shah of Iran”*:
*"The letter of the Paradise-dwelling Sultan Mehmed Khan Ghazi to the Shah of Iran, Jahan Shah Mirza."*

It is noteworthy that, as always, the letters were written in Persian.

Source: Faridun Beg, *Majmu‘a-yi Munsha’at al-Salatin*, written in 982 AH and dedicated to Sultan Murad III of the Ottoman Empire.

Bro I don't see how carrying the title of King of Iran makes the Qara Qoyunlu Iranians, even the Ottomans carried this title. The Qara Qoyunlu state was a typical Turkic tribal confederation, nothing of an Iranian state. Just because the administration was mainly Persian, that doesn't make this state an Iranian state.
