I just want a fun back and forth match where all players feel like it's an equal struggle duel

I like the ban of link monsters but why ban my odd-eyes, me as one of 3 fans of arc-V i am sad😢

Definitely the most my group has been talking about things that are closer to modern yugioh in a few years (We been playing retro pack progression and old school domain). Excited to try it out and engage with it so that hopefully it can stick as I personally like this idea of this format more than current.

As someone who has a fondness for Ryu-Ge, Vaalmonica, and Solfachord (especially with that new support), it does make me sad but I think this is going to be one hell of a fun format. Looking at the current card pool and their respective point cost? It's not too far removed from the decks I already play sooo I shouldn't need to adjust them too much. I hope my locals runs a Genesys tournament

I'm excited to try going second mikanko in this format! Rough that the deck has some cards on the list, but probably deservex givdn the format. Should be a breath of fresh air since I've been playing almost exclusively link decks in standard.

I wanted to bring out my Odd-Eyes and my Endymion Pendulum decks, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Guess I'll just have to find a way to play an Edison-style sort of Spell Counter deck... Wonder if Arcanite or Tempest Magician costs any points...

While I’ve been seeing some negativity towards it, the reception has been overwhelmingly positive, which is kind of a nice departure from other recent changes Konami has made

Hope you make a video on it soon! This is honestly the best news in a LONG time when it comes to Yugioh. Can’t wait to hear your opinions.

I wonder how a deck of 3 sets of Exodia, 3 Heart of the Underdog, 2 Pots of Greed, 1 Graceful Charity, and 19 normal monster would do in this format.

I feel bad for players who like Pendulum and/or links, but frankly, I think those summoning mechanics are when I fell off the wagon with the game. I'm excited to try this out.

Yu-Gi-Oh games are decided in the deck building phase. Yu-Gi-Oh faces absurd power creep because they long since abandoned the idea of a "cost." The solution: introduce a cost to deck building. ...besides the actual price of cards.

Konami to any deck that uses a Pendulum monster for support. RIP Nouvelles and Ryu-Ge in Genesys format. 🪦
In all seriousness, the new format looks really fun and exciting to deck build for. Just the breath of fresh air Yu-Gi-Oh desperately needed. We will be partaking!
