In the budget cap era, the budget is per team not per driver. Mekies has stated that only Max’s car is getting updates. Yuki is only running much older worn parts as they’re still chasing the drivers title with Max. I think they should change the budget cap to ensure each car must run an identical spec.

So Red Bull F1 team is estimated to be worth circa $4b in 2025 and I'd love someone more intelligent than me to suggest how much of that value can be attributed to Max's worth and contract status. All I know is that if I were Max my next contract requirements would include a hefty shares based arrangement 😂
