What a great smile that young man had. He knew he'd have a great moustache one day. As a man of 38, welcome to the club. You won't feel much different to being 27 in the head. Stay healthy and it's okay. You may lose a bit of regenerative powers but your max lifts get great. You just won't do as many sets unless you juice but don't do that, as you'll just deplete the good end years - what's the point if you're just competing against yourself. Shave the head if ever go balding, embrace it, far better than Turkey. Alcohol if you ever venture excessively, it takes more days to get over - a weekend in bed after a Friday night out is not fun. Also, your sister is a lovely, lovely fine bird. That last bit was unnecessary but hey - I'm still 27 in the head, remember. Today, I turn 30. 🥸🎈🎁 #Level30
When I turned 10: I remember crying because I felt old.
When I turned 20: I was scared because I could feel my dreams slipping away.
Today I turn 30: and I’m so f*cking proud of younger me for not stopping when I probably should have.
My 30s will be the first decade of existing that I can say with my chest I’m genuinely excited for the future*.
Which feels lovely.
