#BREAKING: A California doctor has been jailed for two and a half years for illegally supplying Matthew Perry with ketamine before the actor’s fatal overdose.
Salvador Plasencia admitted selling the drug despite knowing Perry was a struggling addict, calling him a “moron” in texts.
He is the first of five people sentenced over the 2023 death, with Perry’s family delivering emotional statements in court.
Judge Sherilyn Garnett said Plasencia exploited the actor’s addiction for profit, also issuing an $8,400 fine.
