The person I still look up to is my 6th grade teacher. I been out of 6 grade and now an adult. But Mr vannote has stood by my side any many students side through some of the roughest times and never looked away. He told us we will be something in life and making sure students get there. Still at the same school in Fargo ND

My dad. He is always helping everyone and trying to motivate others to be better versions of themselves. The amount of local impact he has had in the places we have lived is too much to list, from starting a girls highschool soccer team and coaching it because they only had boys soccer to joining the Boy Scouts (even though he had all girls) and becoming a troop leader for boys who didn’t have good role models, to endless visits to nursing homes and elderly people in the community who need somebody to help them or talk to.

My friend Jason. We worked together and he was my supervisor and became a good friend. The business was going under and we were scrambling to find new jobs, and he had an offer while I was still looking but he turned it down and said he wouldn't leave until I found something more secure first because as my boss he felt responsible for me, despite the fact that he had a house and 3 kids, one of them a newborn. Fast forward and he ended up scraping the last of his savings to buy the business and has worked hard to turn it around, and I was able to find something a lot better that turned into a good secure career, but I've never forgotten the risks that he took just to make sure I was okay. He is legit the kind of person every boss should be.
