This is one of those “the populace knows better than doctors” in people’s minds because the sun feels good and it’s natural. Let me guess this video will say “the sun has lots of benefits but you should limit your exposure…”

Take Vitamin C 3x a day if you're unexpectedly going to be out in the sun all day. But better to plan ahead and start taking astaxanthin daily beginning in the spring. Astaxanthin is from algae and is what gives salmon & shellfish their pinkish orange color. It protects salmon from the oxidation in salt water and the sun when they swim up shallow rivers to spawn. By tahe time they do spawn hundreds of miles from the ocean, their meat is often white because the astaxanthin has been depleted. Bonus: Astaxanthin protects cells & DNA from damage by ionizing radiation. So keep some on hand in case of nuclear war or another Fukishima.

Its a circus in these comments right now. It’s not rocket science. Sun is fine in moderation. Overdosage of anything is usually never a good thing. Listen to your body and skin.

I put on sunblock lotion all over my body every time I go out biking. And I think it’s working, I’m looking great!

I'm halfway through getting radiation treatment for three different areas, five days a week and I've had 10 previous surgeries and the cancer is close to multiplying to fast to keep up with. 25 years working in the sun and now I can't stand for the sun to touch me anywhere.

The Sun doesn’t cause skincancer. Poor diet and overexposure does.

I'd rather have vitamin D, which we do get from the sun

Actually sunscreen is full of toxic chemicals and causes skin damage, sunburn the first time you go out without it applied as well. Humans have exposed themselfs to sunlight from ancient times and for a good reason. Because sunlight exposure is extremley benefitial anti inflamatory, it upregulates all the important processes for health & longevity. Also the skin builds tolernace to sunlight when exposed moderatley over a longer period of time. Stop fearing the sun. It’s an elixir of life, health and vitality.
