From $1,000 to $100 Billion: The Michael Dell Story

Today, I want to share an incredible story about one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time: Michael Dell, the founder of Dell Technologies.

Michael Dell grew up listening to business and economic discussions at the dinner table, sparking his curiosity about entrepreneurship at a very young age.

At 18, Dell started his computer company—and he’s still running it in his 60s. A true entrepreneur who simply outworked everyone.

Michael was obsessed with studying history’s greatest entrepreneurs and applying those lessons.

At 13, he bought an Apple II with $1,300 of savings from dishwashing and water boy jobs. Instead of playing games, he disassembled the computer to see how it worked.

Later, he disassembled an IBM PC and realised IBM made none of the parts. This sparked the idea that computers could be built cheaper and better.

At 14-15 years old, Dell made $18,000 in a summer by....
