As you read this, I’ll be in the wonderful, intense firehose of TED (conferences.ted.com/ted2025).

88 often-brilliant, always-interesting talks in 5 days.

I graced the second stage - so far back, they actually had a second stage - for 3.5 minutes (youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ....

It was scary and fun and transformative.

I’ve gone nearly every year for a dozen years.

I’ve also gotten to know Chris Anderson, the leader who turned ted talks into TED TALKS.

I skipped last year for reasons (www.theguardian.com/technology/2024/jan/24/ted-fel….

But I have always respected Chris’ intention, even when I disagreed with him.

And I made sure to come back for this year’s TED.

As Chris is retiring from the helm (blog.ted.com/an-exciting-new-chapter-for-ted/).

It is the end of this era ⏳

That’s a lot of change, progress, and controversy in just 25 years.

For you, what happens when you pull down your proverbial shingle?

What have you changed?

What have you left in the wake?

What do you leave?

I was just telling a long-time mentee that the brighter they shine, the more I shine.

Not because I tell everyone I helped them (hence me not sharing names)!

But because I am but a prism for them to reveal all their colors within.

Being a transformer is why I’m here.

Hopefully you (and Chris) see why you’ve made all this effort, too ⌛️

Curious about the conference? I’ll be talking about it on BringYourWorth.tv as well as in my Inc. Magazine column in the upcoming days (www.inc.com/author/damon-brown).

Subscribe to BringYourWorth.tv so you won’t miss anything (youtube.com/browndamon?sub_confirmation=1).

Consider me your eyes on the ground.

In the meantime, check out all the fun TED stuff over the years - from what it’s like to attend to what you need to do to speak.
