The Escalante 3 is the most comfortable shoe I've ever had, the Via Olympus 1 got me through my first ever half-marathon block, which I ran in the Vanish Carbon 1. The problem? Outsole durability. All of them got wasted in less than 500 km. The Vanish Carbon had no outsole left at less than 200km! Since then I tried, and hated, the Torin 7, as it felt like running on a mud puddle.

Altra doesn't make shoes that fit me, so I really don't care about reviews of them.

Altras are the best for long-term foot health :) sadly they're just kinda boring looking so ... not that popular

I have wide feet, and bunions to add to them, so I love my Altras but with some reservations about my most recent pairs.

I have the Olympus via 2 - worst shoes ever. Like running with a pair of bricks.

Morning all. I had the Altra Escalante 4 for fartleks, tempo run. Have a good day.

Have tried the Via Olympus v1, torin 5 and a paradigm or provision and they were awful. Vanish tempo was nice - for some reason Altra killed it, it was their best shoe. The Experience Flow 2 is a solid shoe though, so interesting to see how they develop the p35 line.

wonder if you will review the british product from RAD the UFO?

I’ll save splaying my toes for walking barefoot around the house. When I’m running I want something that makes going faster and longer easier. Not a sloppy fitted zero drop clown shoe.
